- Wrote letters of recommendation for students to aid in educational advancement, resulting in students successfully entering medical school, law school, and laboratory sciences
- Judged and consulted with local high schools participating in the Tennessee High School Ethics Bowl, judged for the National Collegiate Bioethics Bowl, and wrote and developed case studies for the National High School Ethics Bowl
- Provide crucial support and leadership on executive councils for academic associations, religious organizations, and non-profits (Tyson House, Graduate Student Senate, Philosophy Grad Student Association, Grad IV, St. John’s Lutheran Church-ELCA)
